Masonry in the Mountains
Sponsorship Opportunities
The
Masonic Spring Workshop, held in Kananaskis Country, Alberta, is North America’s
premier conference for rank and file Freemasons. Since 1966, Freemasons from
Alberta (and other
parts of North America) have met for a relaxed weekend in a Mountain setting
to learn about their Craft — to be challenged, excited, amused, exposed
to new ideas, offered options for expression, and mentored
in the ways and ideals of Freemasonry.
Who are the Freemasons and what do they do? Freemasonry is a universal fraternal
organization dedicated to moral and ethical self-improvement, and to community-oriented
benevolence. We have provided quiet service to our communities for several
hundred years.
The Masonic Spring Workshop is for rank and file
Masons. It was founded by men who saw a need for more intense discussion
of the ideals, lessons and
issues
of the Craft, and for training in the various functions and positions required
to operate a Lodge. The knowledge gained here is also useful in a Mason’s
daily life, not just in Lodge.
There are almost 8,000 Freemasons in Alberta. Information about the Masonic
Spring Workshop is sent to them several times during the winter prior to
the event. In addition, e-mails reach several thousand more Masons throughout
North
America via the various Masonic “lists” inviting them to check
out our information on the world wide web. This year, we have our own website — www.masonicspringworkshop.ab.ca — where
information concerning the 2004 Workshop is posted along with registration
information and forms. Included in the site are some historical materials
and photos of the past 38 years.
We offer you, as a Participating Sponsor, the opportunity to assist us in
delivering high quality speakers and workshop sessions to our participants.
The various packages are available in pdf formatfor your convenience (Adobe
Acrobat required).
Packages include
